Objectives

HISAC (High Speed Aircraft) is a European project led by Dassault Aviation under the supervision of the European Community (2005-2009).
It is part of the sixth framework program of the European Community for research, technological development and demonstration activities, contributing to the creation of the European Research Area to innovation.
HISAC’s purpose is to assess the feasibility of a small size supersonic transport aircraft highly constrained by environmental specifications.
37 partners (industries, research centres and universities) from 13 countries including Russia are participating to HISAC.

Objectives:

Following HISAC’s presence at the European City of Science Forum held in Paris (14 - 16 November 2008), 3AF (Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France) & Dassault Aviation are organising an International Conference: HISAC2009 which aims to engage with a broad audience, including members of the wider Aeronautical, Scientific & Technology community to raise general awareness about recent developments on future supersonic aircraft and associated regulations.
